I live inTexas and the Mountain Time Zone. Most of Texas is in the Central Time Zone. But then, most of Texas doesn't have mountains either.

Oh no! Looks like you got one bad answer that isn't correct already! I live in Texas and I can tell you for certain that most of Texas is central time, but the very westernmost tip is actually Mountain time. El Paso is the only major city in Mountain time.
