A young child has a great learning capacity. They learn through sight, touch, smell, hearing, and taste. We all learn through the same process. We go to school and we learn through books, films, other people we come in contact with. And we learn through lifes experiences. So the question really is: What do we do with all of our knowledge? Are we able to do anything with that knowledge? If so, what? Does it depend on the kind of knowledge we have as to what we do with it? This is something for everyone to think about. Tell me your thoughts and concerns or ideas. Waiting to hear from you.!!

I believe knowledge is power ONLY when you apply action. When action is applied to the knowledge we all hold inside of us then we are able to be a success in life. If you have the knowledge without action then all you have is information. EXAMPLE: I have the knowledge to be a leader. If I do not apply myself and build on those thoughts, then all I have is the know how. Now if I set forth goals and apply myself (step up to the plate and get things done) then others will follow. Now I am a leader. Therefore, knowledge is power only when action is applied.

We gain knowledge and apply it to better ourselves in whatever position we are in. Therefore knowledge is a tool, like a power item.

Yes, absolutely.

I have always loved this saying, and when I was younger, I applied it to books. I loved to read and read as much as I could, because I wanted to learn about life (being a kid, there was only so much I could do myself). I believe that knowledge is power because knowledge, both about the world around you and yourself, can help you make better decisions, and as a result, you can achieve your goals and make less mistakes or errors along the way. As a psychologist, I have met so many people who were knowledgeable about the world around them, but completely blind to their own faults and decision making processes, and therefore could not understand why the "same things" kept happening to them over and over.

unused knowledge is useless. only when a persons knowledge is applied in there daily life can it become any sort of power. and i dont know if i would call it power but mearly a tool that can be used to gain power. you still need strength, determination, and be able to realize you must gain new knowledge everyday. yes education is paramount but there is more in life than what can be learned in school.

Power, to a physicist, is the rate at which work is performed. If someone does the same amount of work as someone else in half the time, then they have twice as much power.

So the question really is this: Can knowledge allow you to perform the same amount of work faster or the same task with less work? The answer to this question is indisputably yes.
