It's a great book. It's about rabbits. It's considered a modern classic and won the Carnegie Medal for it's author Richard Adams (who also wrote "Plague Dogs").

Watership Down is my favorite book, and i've read thousands. I came upon this book because it's in like 3 or 4 stephen king books. I try and read a book every two or three days, some weeks i'll count 5 books in that week. Everything from Stephen King to Cat who... to John Grisham and nonfiction and no book i've read is better than Watership Down.

Its about a warren of rabbits trying to find a new home after the original one is destroyed by humans.
Its an incredible book. My favorite part is the elaborate mythology Adams sets up for the rabbits, and the origin of the world in a rabbit-centric religion.
I very much reccomend it.

It is not stupid. It is wonderful. I think it is an allegory of human civilization and "the rat race" (I know, I'm mixing metaphors. . .) The characters are awesome. I've read it again and again. I would recommend it to anyone.
