My favorite team is the Baltimore Orioles, all though it's been a rough roadtrip.
I don't have a clearcut favorite player for the Orioles, but if I had to single out one player, I'd have to give props to closer Chris Ray. I like Ray's mentality as a closer, he shows absolutely no intimidation, and when he blows a game (which isn't very often), he doesn't allow the letdown it affect his next save opportunity.
For example, when he gave up the walk-off grandslam to Arod, guess who came right back the following game and got the save?
He also gave up a grandslam to Willy Mo Pena of the Red Sox, but in his next save opportunity, he delivered against the Indians. Not to mention, that the only time Ray has given up runs is indeed those 2 grandslams.
