i've had both tree ones and we built a couple "forts" on the ground in the woods with boards and branches and sh*t. it was great. We always hated the kid who's dad built him one that was waterproof and carpeted. Stupid richer!

my brother used to build the coolest forts underground with his friends...then they would put a piece of plywood over the top...and cover it with sod....no one knew it was there...unless you were invited...it was too cool!!!! Memories!

Me & my childhood gang built a normal shack in the woods but the interesting part when we decided to build a "small space ship" hanging on top of that house ! the tree branch snapped and dropped on da house ! we all had injuries !
We saw some movie about kids building a space ship from a garbage bin who flew into deep space in it, and we the "so called geniuses" got inspired to build a space ship of a garbage disposal unit equipped with fans and batteries and lots of mars bars and twix ! imagine the lbs this space ship was carrying !
fits 3 people ! + a small TV set and an ATARI !

We had an awesome tree fort! Of course we are too old and too fat to climb a tree now so no forts for us!

i guess youll hate me...my dad built one from the grown up(hes an engineer) for us. it had a ladder, door, windows, and shutters...plus it had linoleum floors and when we had sleep overs we'd put a tv in it. it was pretty cool.

i did, but my brother shot it with yellow paint balls, then it was hit with a storm, then my brother ripped it apart, and then my dad cut the tree down, so my little shelter is history.
