Instead of looking at period movies, why don't you play cartoons and favorite kid shows from the 50's instead? What was the entertainment like? People liked to go to the movies look up movies that were made in the 50's including even the silly ones.
What comes to mind is the Little Rascals - the original ones.

There are a few movies from the 50's that feature the bands of the day performing their hits; sort of like an early version of MTV.
I think one was called "Don't Knock The Rock" or "Can't Stop The Rock"; it featured Allen Fried, the DJ that got rock'n'roll introduced to white teens.
Elvis' movies were all rated G. Speaking of Elvis, "Lilo & Stitch" might be a good choice too.

nicely I dont pass to catholic college yet i pass to christian and that i placed on a plaid skirt that comes somewhat previous the knees ( I have been given it hemmed and now its above the knees) and we placed on polo shirts in purple or blue. (long or short sleeve)Or we are able to placed on a button up shirt with our college sort on the chest.
