He is the champ because the fans are passionate. Either you love him or hate him to the very end of the specturm. Fans tune in to either watch him win, or hope he loses. This is apparent during live events where the crowd is split 50/50.
So long as fans feel as strongly as they do, he will continue to put butts in the seats. And that is what Vinnie Mac is all about

It`s simple really. John Cena is still the champ because, The fans love him, right now he`s very marketable so he`ll be the champ until they decide who`s gonna step up next.

for some odd reason he attracts a crowd like noone else.Vince is only keeping him as champ as long as he can make money.If ratings were to fall because of cena then Vince would take it away from him.
