It's probably nothing more than normal coloration. it depends on what color the Molly is and what it's parents were. There are silver Mollies and Dalmation mollies and a cross could be a silver fish with just a few small black dots. Using gold mollies and gold dust mollies would be the same only gold instead of silver. Sometimes the dots don't show until they mature.
