I don't believe he'd get a really big juicy film role again unless he financed the film himself. It's not the being gay part, it's the fact that he lied to the world. He won't get outed anyway, the whole Scientology thing protects him. He's more likely to be ostracised by his fans for his demented behaviour, there's so many rumours of him being controlling over Katie and forcing his Scientologist beliefs on other people (ie: the Beckhams), I think most of his fans are rapidly going off him!

Naturally, this is totally hypothetical so I'd say he would work again but romantic leads might be out. Also totally hypothetically, other leading men in Narnia (i.e. so far in the closet...) who's names can't be repeated for libel reasons but are not oceans away from TC in terms of status and age, may use their power as producers to change homophobic attitudes in Hollywood. Openly gay men do get good roles in Hollywood but not the sort of roles that pay $10M plus fees.

Being gay is nothing compared to the rest of his faults, bigotry, control freak, gay is fine, the rest of the way he acts and treats people is what should keep him from being able to work again. He has had his fame and will never achieve what he has previously, and he has made such a fool of himself with Katie Holmes and his Scientology beliefs that he has lost favour with to many

He is an @ss, he treats Katie badly, she has to do everything according to his beliefs, I don't think the poor girl knew what she was getting into..hopefully she will wake up she is young and still has a chance at a normal life, not one with fruitcake Tom

By "outed", I assume you are talking being homosexual...and, IF that were the case, then yes...he will definitely work again. He wouldn't be discriminated against simply because of his sexuality. In fact, if the private lives of Hollywood actors determined whether or not they worked...then why is Robert Downey, Jr. still working?

Didn't harm Rupert Everett or Elton John. Being gay won't stop him from being stupid though, he needs a much better excuse than sexuality for the madness that is him!

He'll definatly be able to work. He is practially one of the most powerful men in Hollywood. But i don't understand how being gay would affect his abbilty to work. Considering being actor is about portraying different characters.
