i was in math one day and this guy i relly like sat next to me. He never talks to my but today he did....... he was also flurting with me. should i ask him out or should we just be friends????

Seems weirdly suss, he just turns around and starts flirting. Take it one step at a time and see if you can work out why he suddenly is taking an interest in you (of course without directly asking him). If the interest is just because he suddenly got over his shyness then thats fine.
The other reason is he is a player playing the field :)

just give it a little while! flirt with him, talk to him and get to know him a little bit first. and then he'll probably ask you out!
