Fans of "The Monster Squad", Do You Want an Update on the DVD Release?

I have supplied the 'best answers' for several desperate queries, over the pending release of '80's cult horro film, "The Monster Squad" (...pretty excited about the release, myself); I now have a definative date for the release, as well as the dynanmite cover art for the DVD release (see webpage), and I'm looking for the most imaginative, and the most creative response to this information. How excited are you, over this release? Why did you find this film so special?

I'm very excited that it's being released in July. I had previously read on Andre Gower's blog that it was possibly scheduled for October sometime.

I know when I was a kid I was fascinated with Monsters. I loved the old Universal monster movies. And I remember having fantasies about saving my town from monsters or aliens or some kind of evil creatures. When I first saw this film it was the epitome of everything I conjured up in my imaginative head. I absolutely love the scene where they are prepping for battle. The shot of Rudy making stakes in wood shop class is classic stuff.

I recently surprised my fiance with a trip to see a midnight screening of this film. He was in heaven.

I just think kids love the movie because everyone wants to be a hero and deep down I think most people like being scared, so put those together and you've got a kid's perfect fantasy.
