is it legal (in the state of california) for a 14 y/o (almost 15) and a 20 year old to kiss and hold hands and to be affectionate (but not have sex)?

This is not a current event, it is somethin that was asked by a classmate. I honestly don't see the big deal if they are not sexually active. but i would like some feedback

First....are you the 20yo or the 14yo?
If you are 20...why are you asking this question...and why are you dating a 14yo? Age isn't just a number when the number is a child! The answer is YES its illegal.
If you are the 14yo, does the 20yo know you are 14? If this person doesnt know you are playing a game with them that can lead them to jail....or you are risking them going to JAIL if someone ever finds out and reports it.
Look, if you are asking the question, you pretty much already know its not a good idea. I would just end this 'relationship' before someone gets in trouble.

It is not legal in any state. That is called Child Molesting. Where are your parents anyway? They should be charged also. And as for you, enjoy your youth and don`t grow up to fast. You will be an adult soon enough. Don`t make a mistake of taking this seriously because believe me when he gets what he wants then he will be gone.

I'm not sure if it's legal but it is inappropriate. A 20 yr. is an adult a 15 yr.old is a child. You need to see the line and not cross it.
