If 10 strangers where in a house, 5 wearing yellow shirts and 5 wearing blue chances are someone would manage to cause a line put down the middle of them. yellow v blue. Why do people love doing this, especially through the annonimity of yahoo answers ?

They like it because they are losers who crave attention. I'm sure that most of the people on here don't care what they think. I wish they would stop though because it sucks. I think the best thing to do is just ignore them. If nobody answers their questions they are bound to stop.

You can only cause trouble if trouble is already there to be caused. If the two different groups acted like adults and ignored the instigator life would be peaceful but it appears not many people can act like adults and they always bite the bait and start arguing.

People with too much time on their hands, or perhaps not much time but are engaged in roles that do not occupy their brain adequately.
Perhaps they're responding to the chaos in their lives by upsetting others, thereby taking the(ir) focus off their own cr@ppy day.
Pointless. Equally as reprehensible (for me) is people who post needlessly negative answers. I place them in a similar category to the people you speak of!

I think you will get this where ever you go. But the good outnumber the bad here 1000 to 1. This group of people are pretty awesome folks.

Not sure maybe to make things interesting or for kicks. The best thing is to just ignore them or report them is they are being offencive and not even bother answering their questions.

I do get sick of it. I guess some people are actually so miserable and full of hate that they want everyone else to be the same way.
