You might try this book by Patricia Cornwall. There is some dispute about her findings but it's an interesting book. "Portrait of a Killer: Jack the Ripper - Case Closed"

I don't know what age you are, and this is definetly not about the holocaust, but if you're into video games I would suggest GAMEPLAYER: The Genesis Portal by Gary Anderson.

GAMEPLAYER is for readers 12 through 18. It follows the adventures of Nine-dog, Gator and Louie; three racially diverse buddies growing up in the skateboarding, video gaming obsessed Santa Monica, California beach life-style. Their lives revolve around school, skateboarding and video gaming until a bizarre encounter with a run amuck video game propels them into a deadly world of terror, murder and intrigue.

Yes, I am the author and I think it is a well written book that you might enjoy.

Two good books about the Holocaust:

1.) 'The Cage' by Ruth Minsky Sender

2.) 'Night' by Elie Wiesel

I like them both-they're both quick reads but they're really good books!

i would strongly recommend you Carlos Ruiz Zafon and his novel The Shadow of the Wind. its a semi fictional novel, it happens on barcelona after the facist franco came to power, and is about a young kid who finds a book that he has to take care off. and this book is surrounded by mistery..... "The book is written by someone witty and knowing enough to spoof himself while still being able to raise the hairs on the back of your neck. It is also a quasi-Freudian biblio-adventure, looping and twisting through the streets of post-war Barcelona and in among the pages of books, in search of lost fathers and sons, mothers and daughters. (...) He swathes his story in atmospherics: no one is without his wreath of cigarette smoke, no recess without its shadowy figure. Barcelona becomes a place of doors opening into dark interiors of the mind." - The Economist

If you are at all into Stephen King I would suggest one of his most recent called "Lisey's Story" I couldn't put the dang thing down.
