That is odd considering that at 890 square miles, Paris is the much larger city. New York City is only 309 square miles. Perhaps Paris restaurateurs are more interested in giving their diners a different experience and offer Italian, Indian, Chinese, etc., just like we do here! So I guess in a strange way it does make sense!
