Fx 5200 is VERY SLOW. It is old tech w/ only 2 pixel pipelines. It is a DX8 card.

9600 Pro is a decent DX9 AGP card w/ 4 pixel pipelines and good overclocking headroom. 20% overclock w/ ATI Tools is easy.

The radeon 9600 pro is a better card...I should I know have the geforce fx5200! The g force is a decent card....for games back in 2001 that is.....I bough it back in 2003 and am able to run new games with the settings extremely low, which completely looks terrible.

The radeon 9600 is a better more efficient card....don't get the fx5200 its way outdated.
