No: because the total usage of gas over a period of time remains the same. So they sell the same amount of gas.
The only dent would be if people did not drive for a day - therefore consumption goes down, creates a small surplus and the price will go down to sell it quicker. Supply and demand 101.

No. Because that's not possible that everyone does not buy gasoline. If it is possible, the government, businesses and other institutions still need gasoline and the price of gasoline would not go down.
It goes back to the demand and supply law. If you took macroeconomic in college or high school, you will learn about this law and there is nothing you can do. The price will rise until it reaches the equilibrium. After it reaches equilibrium, the price will be stable.

If you think gas prices are tough today, just wait until the bills come in for Iran and Korea. You'll be lucky to get gas at 10 per half gallon of regular and even then it will be diluted with water so much it will be the same as mogas or military fuel stocks!

One day won't make a difference; as this article will explain.
There is another boycott on May 15 this year. I'm going to participate just to see what happens.

... and then it would skyrocket the next day.
Get over it, the price of gas is going up. Trade in your SUV for a moped.
