I'm not sure of the product, but after the page loads, and it's slow. You'll need to click on the blue bar that shows up under the address bar. It will d'load something (perhaps an Active X). If you trust the site then you have to click the blue bar and Alllow.

most activeX are safe, so yes you can download it. But to be on the save side, get something like spybot and run a scan afterwords:)

My guess is that is is safe to download the active x control. SOmetimes there may be information on the particular active x but for the most part it is their for your safety in case you did not specifically request what it is you are trying to view. It is always a good idea to run a scan with either sypbot search and destroy and adaware (both are free and must be launched manually meaning they do not run automatically)on a regular basis. If you should ever install an active x control and notice oddities with your system afterwards you have the ability to go to your "start" menu, choose "system restore" and restore your system to a date prior to noticiing somethings seems awry. That should correct the problem but you will want to update your antispy programs after in order to insure you are up to date.

I'd say do not allow active x controls unless you absolutely have to. If you really need the document, then you probably have to.
