None. No turtle can live in a 10 gallon tank for life. The absolute smallest that any adult, full grown turtle can have is a 75 gallon tank.

sorry but honeslty no turtle will live a full healthy life in a 10 gellon aquarium and be happy. shure you could do it and stunt the turtles growth and make the turtles life miserable. if you have a fenced in back yard, i have seen people get tortises and they stay in the fenced in yard. and its kinda cool to tell people you dotn have a dog but a big ole tortoise. if you had a koi pond or something of that nature in the back yard, you may be able to get away with a turtle in their, you can get a kit at walmart for like 75-85 dollars, and just bring the turtle in for winter if it gets cold in your area, then take it back out in spring. some people are bull headed though and dont listen and would try to raise a turtle in a 10 gallon, and if you do this i would feel so bad for that little turtle, after several years you will realize how small your turtle looks compared to others. and a 10 gallon would need a water change every day and be lot of hassle. and i wouldnt put not animal outside in a ten gallon! if you plan on heating and filtering the water....wont the cords get wet?

A plastic one. Or a baby. But glass outside is scary. As others have said, NO turtle can live in a 10 gal. for long.
Either look at building a pond or outdoor enclosure for a land turtle or a large tank for indoors.
Try to google for a local Turtle club so you can get an idea of good tanks, enclosures and how to keep a turtle healthy.

any turtle could live in a 10 gallon aquarium as a baby, but most turtles grow to be very large. you will eventually have to buy a bigger aquarium. you need to be careful with the glass aquarium outside because the sun will be magnified by the glass and make the water too hot.

That is too small for a turtle. I have 2 red ear sliders and they have gotten very big. They are a lot of work. I keep them in a large tank of water with floating land on the side for them to climb up on. On nice days I take them out in my yard to run around. Being in water too long is bad for them. The sun is good for them. Just not too much.

Just a baby turtle or a small one. My baby red ear slider is living in a 10 gallon right now. As soon as it grows bigger it gets a bigger tank..

The smallest common adult aquatic turtles are the Mud and Musk Turtles. As adults, they rarely hit the 4" mark.
Even they should be kept in a 20L tank.

Tanks too small, need at least 20g tank, likely larger depending on the turtle.
