Subtract 17 from both sides.
p/-7+17 -17 =36 - 17
p/-7 = 36 - 17
p/-7 = 19

Multiply both sides by -7

p = -133

36-17=p/-7
You have to find the #, a- #, which if multiplied by -7 would equal to 19, so I think there is something wrong here.
