He had to make a lot of promises to big business and big oil when they were buying him the presidency. The world knows that we are not in Iraq due to 9/11, but due to Bush making money for himself and his big oil and big business buddies. Bush is evil.

How is anyone suppose to take you seriously when you have the grammar of a 4 year old (no offense to 4 year olds).
Bush vetoed the bill because the job is not completed in Iraq. We can't just pull out and leave the country in chaos. We need to continue to train the Iraqi military and police to the point where they can fight on their own. If we up and left, the government would be overthrown and a new dictator would rise to power, possibly one worst than Saddam, and would certainly pose a major threat to the United States.

Bush vetoed the bill because he believes that his plan will work in Iraq. I find it hard to believe as other then the invasion itself, Iraq is essentially "Vietnam in the desert" where our soldiers are fighting not an enemy army, but an enemy population, and even if his plan could work, he just cut the funding to the army by vetoing the bill... so how is the army going to carry out the plan? I think it's pigheadedness on Bush's part. It has to BUSH'S plan. Not Congress's.

Bush vetoed this bill because he knows the Democrats do not want troops to go without funds. So he is posturing. He will try to force them to write a bill to his liking. This is so he can protect the interests of his contractor friends so they can make as much money as possible on this war.

The President vetoed this bill because it contained a timetable for withdrawal which he has said on numerous occasions that he will not support. He also knows that there is not enough support for this bill in Congress to override his veto.

What a backwards thing to ask! It's the Democrats that are playing politics here with our troops. Any US Toops deaths from this day foreward is on the DEMOCRAT'S heads!
Tell Congress to support our troops now, there are plenty of other things they can play politics with!

MMMM maybe he is afraid of people like you. This is how educated our people would be in a country that doesn't have a democracy. Americans care about there fellow man...Maybe Iraq's people need to stop killing each other , then we wouldn't have a reason to be there.

Because he said he would and he meant it. Don't you libs get it yet? Bush says what he means, and means what he says. Unlike the last monkey that was in office, who went so far in his ridiculous double speak as to debate the definition of the word "is".
BTW, learn a little grammar.
