timothy doesnt know jack ****, from what i can gather. in the first place guitar center sucks, because they have some 16 year old kid, take the guitars out of the box, and put them on the shelf. wow. they sure are "special". and i know this for a fact, my guitar teachers nephew worked their, and thats all he did. Also, squiers are good guitars. i own 2 of em. your just saying buy a fender because its fender. ya jackass.

Timothy doesnt know what he's talking about, he's just trying to get your to buy an expensive guitar. squire guitars are fine. ive played many and they are fine. the one that you looking at is a good guitar for the price. dont ever listen to a sales person they will alway try and get you to buy an expensive guitar like timothy is trying to do.

P-90's are a fat, warm thang happenin' right on top of your axe! The Tele aura would offer a nice "snap" to it (or a "twang" set on the bridge pick-up). This range would be great for guitar-driven blues to a mellow clean sound. The Jagmaster might have the unique look and all, but really couldn't compete with the P-90's for fullness. Now, if you want any alternative, from Metallica to Blink-182 on, the Jag might be a better edge for you. The problem with catalogs is that you can't see 'um, you can't hold 'em, you can't hear 'um, and you can't compare them! Find a rockin' music store, dude, you really owe it to yourself.

Of those two, I'd pick the Jag, but it really depends on what you want to play. The Tele will have a really good straight rock tone to it, where the Jag tends to lean a bit left of center in its sound. For example, Bruce Springsteen favors the Telecaster, where Thom Yorke of radiohead plays a Jaguar.
Your best bet is to go into a guitar shop, and play each one, then decide which you prefer.

I used to be a Guitar Salesman at GC. first off, squires are NOT a quality instrument. just because it says Fender on the headstock doesn't mean JACK SQUAT! On sale right NOW at guitarcenter is a FENDER Classic player Baja Telecaster. $799.99. Please, for the love of the music gods, don't waste your money on a crappy guitar. i know from experience
