Why the hell can't you just go into the bathroom and shave your legs??? Their YOURS, aren't they?

what are your mom's shaving habits? does she do that routinely? she may not. Which might be the reason for her response to you. It may not bother her and she probably doesn't understand that it does bother you.

hair is hair. whether it is light or dark. And the color should have no bearing on whether it is too long or not. if it bugs you, then go buy yourself some sort of shaving device, be it electric, regular razor, or cream remover product like nair or veet, whatever method you want and just do it. personally, at your age, well, 11 actually i was too afraid of razors, so I used my dad's electric shaver. And used that until I went to college and switched to razor.

dark hair has nothing to do with being able to shave it. what happens when you go grey? stop shaving?

If she says no and you have talked to her then just go and shave your own legs. She'll be really mad - I assure you. But she needs to try and accept that you are no longer 5 - you're 13 and hairy legs aren't cool even if they are blond. Trust me - I completely understand.
