They are a match up problem for the mavericks and the mavericks don't have any leadership on the floor or a guy who can take over a game whenever he wants like Baron Davis is doing

dirk is really letting them down by consistently being shut down by guards as a 7 footer and he doesn't have enough heart to attack and get a score when his team needs it to win.

Well for starters, there is a serious match-up problem in Golden State's favor. Don Nelson is playing "small ball" against Dallas and its KILLING them. Avery Johnson is a defensive minded coach, but his players don't play good defense.

Donnie knows exactly how to take Dirk out of the game, and that is something that has to happen if they want to beat Dallas. Anyone who knows basketball will tell you that Dirk Nowitzki is NOT a leader or a clutch player. He is susceptible to quicksand and does not have the heart of a champion. He is a good player, but needs to be on a good team to give him confidence. Dirk's not ready to be a champion yet, perhaps with more time.

The Mavs do not have an answer for Baron Davis, they haven't all season. Baron Davis is right up there with Kobe Bryant as one of the most dangerous players in the playoffs. Once he gets in the zone, he is unstoppable, and he is practically foaming at the mouth at the prospect of eliminating the #1 seed not just the Western conference, but the entire NBA.

The big mistake for Dallas was when Avery Johnson rested his starters before the playoffs. They were unprepared to handle the intensity of an extremely motivated #8 seed that they have yet to find an answer for.

I predict Dallas will win at home tonight, but the Warriors will close the series at home.

That's what I would like to know. Personally, I think it is pretty pathetic that an 8 seed is walking all over the team with the best record in the NBA. You know whats pretty ironic: Golden state needed to win there last few games just to make it in to the playoffs. I think the second to the last game of the season they played against Dallas. Avery Johnson chose to sit all of his starters during the game, and Dallas ended up getting blown out. If Dallas had won that meaningless game, Golden State wouldn't have even been in the playoffs. Pretty ironic! Good for Dallas though, they deserve to lose the way their playing.

The reason is that Dallas has never figured out how to win against Golden State in the regular season having lost all three to them. Then they have only won once against Golden State in the play-offs.

I personally think there are two factors here: 1) The coach of Golden State used to coach Dallas. Plenty of insight to how Dallas plays. 2) Golden State has been the hottest team for the last 3 weeks. So looking at the combo....they have continually been a rough match-up for Dallas.

Cuz they're bunch of thugs

I'm gonna laugh my a$$ off when Dallas beat the Warriors in Oracle and in Dallas....

Bunch of Bandwagon pansies

If you're a real fan i would have heard you guys talking about being the best in the league...but now just because you're beating a #1 seed team you think GS is the best $h!t ever walked on this earth...

I believe . . . . that GS is going to lose on Thurstday

the homo T-shirts are non creative

Mavs still beat you in audience participation....

Turds

Can't stand Baron Davis and Jason Richardson

If you're a real fan i don't see the oracle arena get packed ever home game

If you're a real fan then you should have predicted the Warriors going to the playoffs or at least have confidence

Sorry for th b!tching but I can't stand Bandwagon Warrior fans taking trash while non of the Dallas fans are defending and if you're a true warrior fan i'm sorry

Golden State is having their way with Dallas because their Coach Nelson used to coach for Dallas and Dirk Niwinksi is not playing the way he should. But also, Golden State is just a better team and they have better fans--like ME!!! I love Golden State and I have total confidence they can knock out Dallas tonight!!!

All i know is that Golden State is going to win. The G.S. Mavs games are so fun to watch. All the excitement! I didn't even know Golden State existed before these games. GO GOLDEN STATE! I hate Dallas... they deserve to loose... they have a gay coach, owner, players. All have bad attitudes and negativeness. "BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO BAD PEOPLE!" Tonight is going to be really great.....I bet Dallas is pissed so they're going to really bring it... and the game is @ Dallas. I don't think Dallas is giving up that fast. But i hope they eventually loose!

GO CAVS!

P.S. Dirk is loosing his game... i don't know wats wrong!

Dallas is in one of their 4-game slumps (last 4 games of last year's playoffs, first 4 games of regular season 2006/2007, now first 4 games of the playoffs). They don't have enough leadership on the floor. Their problem is that Nowitzky cannot be a good leader. But I'm afraid they still can come back.
