Why is gun control such a "hot" topic?

Because these days thousands of unregistered guns are on the streets. Hundreds of children get their hands on them and accidents or incidents happen from there. Plus guns go hand in hand with murderers, drug dealers and anyone else who likes to commit felonies. This makes things harder to catch the bad guys while we pay more tax dollars to fight the problem.

A minority of people like politicians and other citizens want to disarm the American Gun Owners so as not to have any resistance when the New World Order takes over in America or when we are overthrown from within by our own Government or from an invading enemy..... The Government respects and fears the people who have a means of defending themselves against Tyranny or a Tyrant... Those who have a means of protecting themselves and their family will not become slaves of a Tyrannical form of Government....

Libs, leftists, socialists and their dumbocrat allies can't achieve their take over of America if the citizens have guns and the willingness to use them in defense of their lives and country. Since most lefties love criminals, they are hoping to ensure that only criminals have guns, so there will be no resistance to their coup.
