I will soon be running a marina and I am curious on how I might make my boaters lives easier. I plan on offering cleaning services as well as provisioning services (stocking the boat with food and beverages) at a charge, but I'm curious to know if I'm missing something. Any ideas?

Well .... after checking Your profile in which You said:

About me: I, most likely, do not like you and I am annoyed that you are reading this

There is no way I would want my boat in your marina. Sounds like a really unpleasant management style. I don't care what services you provide!!
I'll be in the marina up the road.

but ... since you asked - Ice, laundry facility, clean adequate restroom/shower facilities, clean water at the slips, adequate shore power, phone and cable connections at the slips, safe dock surfaces, tight cleats, emergency fuel/oil spill equipment for every dock, easily accessible pump-out facility, portable pump-out equipment, 24hr security, wireless web access.

As soon as you begin providing services to maintain and service the boats in the marina, you expose the marina to liability issues that your insurer might balk at.

Really good traction when getting off the boat, and on to the dock, a "Tide Clock" on the dock, "Emergency Numbers" posted in as MANY places as you can.

Coast Guard
Marine Police
Fire Dept.

Really good lighting helps a lot too.

Good cheap block ice, clean gas with no water. cleats that are securely fastened to the dock. Dock workers who are not insolent. and... a free dinghy landing dock.
