When Bush entered his second term of office and was talking about the war I figured he wanted to continue the war through his whole second term of office and he wanted the next president to decide when the end of the war would come. His only thoughts when coming into office was finishing the war for his father no matter what the costs.
I do not believe he has the best interest of the American people in mind -- I think he has the best interest of the Iraqi people in mind. Does that benefit us. I don't believe it does to the extreme he has placed us.

How many people are brainwashed and think we would have been better of with Al Gore, or worse, John Kerry as President. George W will never go down in history as a favorite President, but he is still the best choice we had in both elections.
BTW, here's a prediction I hope never comes to pass. If Hillary (who has now dropped the Rodham) Clinton becomes President, the name Rodham is coming back faster than a politician (from either party) can lie.
I will vote for Hillary, for permanent ambassador to Antarctica.
Draft Fred Thompson, he's a candidate I can live with.

Oh he does tell the truth and he does have our best interests at heart.A lot of people seem to always be upset at the Pres. for what goes on but there are a lot of people in power who just dont give a **** and its hard for Bush to deal with them. Its no easy job,and the next time you start trippin' on the way the US is being run take a swallow of whatever it is your consuming or an eye full of what your watching or how safe you feel walking to the store, and trip that because of what the US does we got it like that.People protest but if they woke up tomarrow with no Starbucks,Hamburgers and fries on the corner and the freedom to get a job,oh they would be trippin'then.See some take our freedoms too much for granted.

Looks like this posting is the one brainwashed -- spouting the same BIAS That has been going around! I'd suggest that a good start is to LEARN what the roles, duties, and responsibilities of the Office of the President of the United States are .. but there are very few interested in doing this at this time.
By the way -- NO WAY did the Previous Administration (Clinton) have the best interests (or even honoring the role of the President of the US) have in mind or through their actions.

For the record, Bush doesn't have much control over what goes on, he gives ideas and can Veto however, it's the U.S. Senate that is responsible for most of the bullshit that goes on. So perhaps everyone should take their ignorance and shove it until they read a bit more? I'm not condoning Bush as a good president, however it gets old when all I hear is people bitching and crying about how horrible a president he is when you are the stupid fools that put him there in the first place.

I didn't vote for him in 2000 -- the majority didn't -- but I was willing to give him a chance. When Clinton's tidy and in-the-black deficit was wrecked by him within the first 12 months, I knew we had a spendthrift in office.
Then 9/11 occurred, and I knew we had been targeted because we had 1) a globally perceived weakling in office or 2) a president who was in cahoots with the Arabs and terrorists.
Then the war started. We declared it on the wrong country, but pretended to be doing it to avenge 9/11. --!!!???-- At that point I knew that Bush was not just a spendthrift and secret ally of the arabs, but crooked car saleman who could panic and pressure the people into buying anything.
Bush needs to go. America needs Bush to go.

Unfortunately there are still people who believe in and support Bush till this very day. That's kind of sad really.

I have a strong feeling that the number is decreasing. There are still some though. I met one just the other night. But, they are less and less. People who maybe not completely convinced yet are at least starting to question. Hallelujah...

Sadly, about 45% of Americans believe Bush, and think his administration have adopted the correct foreign policy.
I really don't see how America will ever recover from the mess Bush has created.
It's a very sorry state of affairs.

Unfortunately way to many, I don't know if they are brain washed or brain dead, otherwise Bush and Cheney would both be impeached and the speaker of the house Nancy Pelosi would be president.
