There is a main relay on that car that controls the fuel pump and the ignition system. It is very common for that relay to fail, particularly if the conditon occurs after the car has been parked in the sun all day.

the main relay should be located behind the left side of the instrument panel behind the coin tray. It is probably gray in color. If its not there, its behind the glove box but I think the 90 model was to the left of the steering wheel.

this is a very common problem on the 90-91 accords. You'll need to buy the relay at a Honda dealer. They can tell you where it is located on your car. Its not hard to change it once you know about it. I'm sure it will fix your car.

Hope that helps

What happened to start the issue? Nothing? I would try the spark at the cyl... see if your getting any at the plug....work back from there, if you sqirt starter fluid in while cranking (not more than 20 sec/time or youll blow your starter) does it fire, that would tell you its a fuel delivery issue.

then you have one thing left to check, the fuel pump relay. It's a common thing on hondas.
