they are black and yellow inside and really moist, they are grose, how do I get rid of them?

you can just leave them, mushroom compost is great for the soil, but what mushrooms are, a symptom to another problem, over watering. I bet if you go to where they are growing you will find the soil really moist, correct the problem and they will go away to.

actually you really dont want to. they help the soil and are good for your other plants what you are seeing is only part of it anyway. just whack them off with the law mower, weed eater,or shovel and you will be done with the icky part. what those are is the method it uses to reproduce. they make spores which spread out and make more mushrooms. they will eventually finish their life cycle and move on elsewhere. what they leave behind though is a bonus of nutrients that your yard can use.

The word is gross.

It sounds like that area is very damp, mushrooms only grown in damp areas.

They will get rid of themselves. Mushrooms don't last long and they rot away VERY quickly.
