Please give me the density of marble. ive looked for 1 hour and now im very very very very pissed. please answer today b cuz i have an assignment due tommorow.

According to the Handbook of Chemistry and Physics, the density of marble is 2.76 grams per cubic centimeter.

Here's a density problem assignment in which one of the problems is about a statue. The problem claims that the density of marble is 2.76 g/cm^3.

No idea if that is correct or if the teacher or publisher just threw in that figure.

Size and shape are irrelevant to the density. But material is, and we don't know the material, unless it is actually marble. here ae two possible materials: density crown glass 2500 kg/m³ density of marble is 2600 - 2900 kg/m³ .
