yes, they do, female cats get them when they have babies when in labor, and they can have them with intestinal problems just like us when we have intestinal bugs.
Also muscle cramps, spasms, yes they get those too, they have underwater treadmills for dogs to strengthen their legs, and also use massage therapists who are trained in pet massage. Alot of times after a broken bone and cast, the leg is weak and atrophied, the animals need physical therapy to rebuild muscle mass. They use a therapy called pulsed signal therapy which is an electromagnetic field similar to humans using TENS or ultrasound. Sometimes they use ice, acupuncture, Neuromuscular Stimulation (NMES), tens, ultrasound, therapeutic nutrition, Reiki and sometimes wraps to help support the muscles too.
Signs are holding their leg up, refusing to walk, seeing ripples on the skin if you part their fur, and crying, sometimes they wash the area in an attempt to stimulate the muscle to stop cramping too.

Yes!! My dog used to get cramps. He would just lay there and then get up and have a cramp... i know because if i would go over and rub her leg and then she would turn around and lick my face and then i would get up and she would look around then walk around and be fine.

sure they do. My cat used to get cramps when she was running around the house like a maniac - then she'd stop and start limping around. I don't know if it was a sympathy game or what.

the following dogs and cats are not offered in puppy shops; you purchase them in shelters. yet the following the rabbits do stay in really a small demonstrate. It saves money besides the indisputable fact that the rabbit continues to be waiting to bypass round besides the indisputable fact that it would want to't get any excercise. i'm satisfied that the puppy shops the following do not purchase from turbines. They purchase animals from those who's pets gave beginning and favor some position to provide their toddlers away.

Absolutely they do! I had a horse who got one way up high on the inside of his leg (basically up in his groin). I felt really stupid massaging it for him, but it obviously felt so good to him that I did it until he relaxed.
