This is an old movie from the 50's, I think. This older man is at the ball park and somehow catches a ball in the outfield. He becomes young again and plays the season with a team. In the end, he catches the game winning ball but crashes through the fence and becomes old again.

Sounds a lot like "Damn Yankees!". Was it a musical?

The movie you want is "Damn Yankees", from 1958, starring Tab Hunter, Gwen Verdon, and Ray Walston. It's actually a baseball-themed musical (!), but it's definitely the one you want; an old Washington Senators fan sells his soul to the Devil to become a young baseball star who can help the Senators finally beat the Yankees. Good flick.

I don;t remember a baseball movie with that story line. But I do remember a Twilight Zone epsiode and a Night Gallery Episode (Both staring Rod Serling) of the same type of thing.

Everyone above me is saying Damn Yankees. But for some reason I don't think thats it.

"Take me out to the Ball Park." Sticks in my mind. Of course the two TV episodes I mentioned above and one other. "The kid from left field"

I'm not really sure, but they remade this idea in The Sandlot 3 (with Luke Perry)...might be an interesting update?

Damn Yankees. It's a musical involving a pact with the devil.
