I've had this same feeling for quite some time. Honestly, I feel my grandmother would be just as effective as Matt Millen. She could just listen to her scouts and coaches to make a more educated decision than the buffoon that is Mr. Millen. He has sunk the franchise to new lows. I actually have to question why he was hired in the first place. Maybe someone in the Ford Family knows him or idolized him while growing up. It's about time they let him go and give someone else a chance to rectify the situation up there.

I was thinking about this just before the draft, I want Matt Millens job security. I mean honestly where else can you make that much money and never be held accountable for some redundant decisions?. I don't remember him being that great of a commentator let alone as someone in charge of an NFL franchise. Oh well someone in Detroit likes him and sees something good in him so I will just leave it at that. I don't think they are gonna be awful that much longer, I see them as a turn around team of the year...something like the Saints were last year.

Hes made some questionable calls but ultimately it is the owners fault. It is his responsibility to hire a GM that knows what he is doing. Mat Millen is a bad GM, but he is doing his job the way he thinks is best, the owner takes all the blame for this one.

Barkley is amazingly promising. plenty will remember on the O-coordinator and the schemes if Barkley receives to play, the O-line and receivers which will in positive condition into Kelly's equipment. Palmer develop into an brilliant QB yet due his harm and different issues on the Bengals - issues replaced. keep in concepts Jim Plunkett ? He had little help with the Patriots which practically destroyed his occupation yet discovered himself with the Raiders. that is more desirable than purely the QB skills - there are such countless factors that favor to be performed out. I do desire Barkley has an excellent occupation. i imagine he's matched up with the right training crew.

Well I predicted he'd draft a soda machine with his first pick, instead he picked Calvin Johnson. I'd say he did better than my predictions.
