Oh, my gosh! My life woul be entirely different. I probably would come out of my depression for one thing. I would start listening to music again. There definitely would be a withdrawl symptoms. And I wouldn't know anything. I watch a lot of news tv and it is very depressing even without realizing it. It wears on you after awhile. Just take my tv away and I bet I would feel 100% better

I think it would be bad because I would feel like living in the dark without knowing problems are being solved or not and I could not make good business decisions. To me, it's like putting my head in the sand.
That doesn't mean all the news that is out there is necessary. I choose to ignore that news.

It would make my life a lot more tranquil. I think we hear too much news. I really do not care what is happening in Baghdad, to tell the truth

if nobody could see hear or read the news what would be the point in the news

imagine whole life of holiday; because i guess everything we do to live now based on and affected by news.

I know many retirees who choose to do just that, and they're perfectly happy being oblivious. "We can't do anything about it anyway," is their attitude.
