A possibility/not a possibility?

Good/Bad?

Could they become conscious(?) like we are, but in their way?

Would they evolve into consciousness? or would we create their consciousness?

If yes, could we live in harmony; or would there be never-ending strife?

WE call it 'ARTIFICAL' because it is not of us...
That does not mean it is fake...

If you think it will be humanities undoing, why do you believe so?

Artificial intelligence is not only a possibility, it is a CERTAINTY.

I'll grant you that we may never be able to write computer code that duplicates human thinking directly. This, however, is not necessary. We can look at the problem from different angles.

Even if we don't understand exactly how thinking occurs, we know a LOT more about that object that produces the thinking - a human brain. And we learn more every day. So it's not too farfetched to imagine something that simulates a brain perfectly... and that means also simulating what a brain DOES.

Not good enough? It's true. We can't make perfect brain simulations now, and it's not just because of lack of computer power. There is, however, at least one thing that we do know thoroughly: the human genome.

Thanks to the human genome project, we now have a record of at least one way to make a complete human being. And perhaps many. And though it takes lots of computer time, we can predict from there all the chemicals and proteins that are produced, how they interact and what they do, and so on up. Thus, even if there is no other way, a big enough computer could simulate human thought by simulating a human from the DNA on up.

And that's a degree of complexity that is almost certainly unnecessary, even if it is almost certain to produce results. Once we have demonstrated that it is inevitable, it's only a question of when.

What will they be like? Probably like us. Will they live in harmony? If we can't, I don't see how they'd do much better. Unlike us, however, they will have power needs and off switches... perhaps they'll get along simply because they are more vulnerable. Or perhaps they'll be better thinkers than us and eventually replace us. Who knows?

Possible? Definitely! Most likely, they will evolve into consciousness using something called a "Seed AI". Basically, we make the right starting conditions in the software/hardware and through learning, the AI grows to self-awareness. IBM has recently announced that they have modeled half a mouse brain on their supercomputer, and will do a full mouse brain soon. When you get a mouse brain modeled completely, well then we have the inner workings of our most tested parallel and we can infer a lot from that. Will there be harmony? That depends what we teach it with our actions, media, and intent.

, Is Artificial Intelligence (AI) completely represents Human beings? If yes how? If no how? Use example and explain?

i believe in what ever comes. I enojy a superior communicate on A.I, i imagine that is a really interesting topic, one which needs interest. i love videos like the Terminator, The Matrix, 2001 area Odyssey, Animatrix. They manage A.I and extra precisely the relationship between A.I and human beings. i imagine that the destiny is mutually your perfect dream, and your worst nightmare. i believe we can keep advancing. i believe robots could have extra responcibility and performance in our society. in case you do not imagine that, then you fairly settle, that it develop right into a dumb theory that bill Gates develop into dreaming about even as he anticipated a unusual metallic container in each homestead that could want to do such dissimilar issues. i believe we can create solid A.I, smart A.I, because continuously the added we strengthen the added issues we are dealing with. Thats the way it really is. A.i will help us. As to what occurs after that, it would want to be anyones wager. many everyone is announcing that we are going to create A.I so smart that it will ultimately say, "Why?" "Who am I?" "Why am I?" "Why do I pay interest? Do I really ought to? might want to I?" At that element in destiny, we can favor to compromise, because it is going to develop into not a probability to provide A.I extra intelligence without giving it the capacity to ask most of those questions.

Given enough time, human beings will figure out a way to add parts of themselves to machines making them living AI units. Shortly thereafter however it will be humanities undoing!!!

Awww come on, Real. Artificial Intelligence is all around us. Well, at least it's around me. Could just be the neighborhood I live in but I am surrounded by people who really think they are smart. But you and I both know it's a fable.

It better be a possibility because our natural intelligence doesn't seem to be working too well.
