bra for my Lady, but i've been told lace is uncomfortable... what are your thoughts?

Depends on how long its going to stay on!! LOL
But I do find lacy bras scratchy if they dont have some kind of lining on them.
Just go hit Victorias Secret. make sure you know her size and pick out something super hot and it wont matter if its scratchy or not since it will just be hitting the floor anyway!

Whether or not lace is uncomfortable is the least of your problems. It is almost impossible to select the right bra size and style for someone else. Even if you get the correct size off of a bra she already owns, different styles will fit differently.
If you want to buy her lingerie, I suggest you ask the clerk to help you select a teddy, sleepwear, lounge wear, or a sexy slip instead.

I think lace is scratchy, but that's how it feels to me.
