If you haven't actually missed your period yet and you're using one of those early detection tests, it's best to do it in the morning because there is a higher concentration of hormone in your urine. But if you are already late, go ahead!

It is always better to take the pregnancy test with the first urine of the day because it is the most concentrated but you can take the test anytime of the day. Just make sure you follow the directions carefully and don't drink a lot of water in the time frame you plan on taking the test. If you just so happen to drink a lot of water just wait until the next time you have to urinate to take the test. I hope this was helpful and you get the results you want.

I know that all the test say the best urine to use is during the morning. But it really doesn't matter. If you are pregnant your HFG levels will be higher in your urine then normal. So, it really don't matter when you take it. I should know, I have been pregnant 7 times and all my test where done at different times. I have never once taken a test in the morning. I'm a military wife and I stay busy. So, when ever I thought that I was pregnant, I would just take a test. And they are always correct. So, take it when every you want to.

I would suggest you wait until your first pee of the morning. Even though tests say that you can test at anytime, you have the most HCG in the morning. Do not drink a lot of fluids before you take it though. Also my doctor told me that just because my period was 3 days late for me to wait until at least 10 days after it is (period) late to take the test, because it would be too early to really tell for some women because certain women the hormone does not show up as soon as it does in other women who test before or the day of their missed period (you may get a false negative).
My period is almost 2 weeks late, and I have been TTC for about 2 months now. I have been feeling tired, moody, nausea and a loss of apetite as well as 1 week before my period was due I was having mild cramping as well as lower back pain, I have no spotting or any sign of my period starting.

Good Luck with whatever you want your test to say!

it incredibly is familiar to get a faux destructive on a being pregnant attempt - some human beings even get fake negatives on the docs workplace. The attempt on the surgeon is oftentimes as precise because of the fact the homestead attempt, yet there are different issues that ought to effect interior the destructive effect. considering you took the attempt interior the night your hCG stages have been probably decrease than once you have been examined on the docs workplace. in case you drank a very good kind of fluids in the past finding out then it could have diluted your urine. additionally, if this became the digital attempt then it could each so often be somewhat much less precise in a trend. The exams with the strains will each so often practice incredibly faint because of the fact the hormones are so low, however the line continues to be there so it incredibly is a favorable. The digital exams might desire to be extra particular of the valuable in the past asserting "pregnant" or "no longer pregnant", so it could require a extra robust point of hormones. possibly you took it incorrect? (unlikely, yet nonetheless achievable) because of the fact the surgeon examined your urine and it got here returned valuable then it means you're pregnant even regardless of the undeniable fact which you got the destructive attempt after. fake positives are impossible (except you examine the attempt after 10 minutes and then there must be an evaporation line which will look like a favorable, yet i'm able to promise you that the surgeon examine it in the past that). as a manner to get a favorable you are going to be able to desire to have hCG on your equipment, which basically shows up in case you're pregnant. Congratulations.

The pregnancy tests these days are sensitive enough that they do not need first morning urine, so an evening test would be accurate.

evening is fine wait 3 hours since your last urine and don't drink very much in those 2 hour you don't want to dilute your urine here is some info good luck
How long do I need to hold my urine? Is first morning urine the best sample?

Because home pregnancy tests detect hCG, it is best to collect urine samples containing the highest presence of the hCG hormone. Diluted samples (from drinking high volumes of water / frequent urination) are not recommended and can diminish test accuracy. Instead, first morning urine is considered the ideal sample as it contains the most concentrated presence of hCG. Otherwise, waiting several hours after last urinating to take a test.
Does the hCG sensitivity of the test matter?

The sensitivity of a pregnancy test determines how soon after conception pregnancy can be detected by the diagnostic kit. Concentrations of hCG are reported in milliInternational Units (mIU) or amounts equal to 1/1000th of an IU per milliliter. Pregnancy tests with a sensitivity of 20 mIU/ml are more sensitive than tests with 50 to 100 mIU/ml.

With 20 - 25 mIU/ml tests, high sensitivity equates to early detection of pregnancy. That means you can begin testing accurately as early as eight days after conception. Conception may take place several days after date of intercourse, so the date of intercourse should not be viewed as the necessary day of conception.

It is best to take in early in the morning, that is when the pregnancy hormones are strongest in your urine. You can take it whenever you want to really but I always took mine in the morning just to be sure. Good luck!
