A) Not a great deal of difference - Heightened tension throughout the world -:> china coming up etc....

B) Oil runs out -> Alternative power sources utilised -> renewable looked at for a short time - Fusion power looks like the way to go -> The main insulating material for reactors coming from the moon (i cant remember the name of the stuff - but it is gonna be big in the future) - one gram of this stuff can run a city for years !!

C) 1000 years from now - No one eats meat - They look back at us like we used to look back at the Cavemen and **** - hunting animals and wearing their furs - All our food is synthetically grown - or created or whatever. To hurt an animal is JUST WRONG. Also much more efficient forms of power are being developed Fusion is still quite big - But Zero point energy (and vacuum energy) is being looked at - could possibly provide limitless energy.

D) Zero point energy is all the rage - every single device basically lasts forever - the batteries never run out - Genetic engineering is also coming up leaps and bounds - along with nano technology - People never get sick or even die (?)

E) 3000 years, well - If the human race lasts that long we'll be doing alright - Limitless Energy, Immortality, We can go out into space as far as we can go (Faster than light travel is not, possible in my opinion - anywhere we wanna go we will have to spend AGES getting there) They will have computers so powerful that they can simulate an entire universe -> it is a common theory that by law of averages the universe we live in now is more likely a simulation than a real universe - given that in the future almost all computers will be able to generate a universe very easily. ------------------------- Anyone interested in a utopian view of the future should read Ian M.
