The scale from highest to lowest is Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass. Therefore, bass would be the opposite.

Soprano is the highest female voice so the opposite would be the lowest female voice Alto.

Bass on the other hand is much lower but is a term applied only to male singers.

tennor or bass and a mezzo soprano can hit some high notes and low notes and an alto is the lowest pitch for a girl and baritone for a guy
