Erika Drakeley. Last name is Davis.

I know it is my name, but would you want to name your child this? What do you think about it? I think it's too boring. What about you?

Drakeley was my great-grandma's maiden name.

I think Erika is pretty good.

Drakeley sounds a little of strange to many people.

Davis is your last name, that you don't need to change.

I would change the middle name Drakeley to Berkeley. The name Berkeley gives people a very positive image, because of a world famous university UC Berkeley in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Berkeley would match with your last name Davis, because both UC Berkeley and UC Davis are part of California's top puplic universities.

When people see your new name Erika Berkeley Davis, they would be excited and want to start a conversation to you about your name. People would wonder and remember your name well.

By the way, I like the name Berkeley very much, because I went there for school about 10 to 14 years ago.

If you mean that it's your name in that you're naming the baby after you, I like it. It's nice to give you're kids part of your own name to keep it in the family. I agree with others about Drakeley being a little different, but hey, that's what's in these days. Erika is cute.

I dont like Drakeley as a middle name but I like Erika. Maybe you can give her a different part of your grandma's name.

I think it's a nice name. The middle name is definitely different, good for a middle name, not for a first. Erika is a nice classic name.

I think you have a good name :-)

At thirteen I think we all want to have a different and more exciting name, so you are like so many other 13 YO (found that from another of your questions) on this subject. Dream away and make up names for yourself, but most likely you will grow to appreciate your name in time.
Erika name means "complete ruler", noble, powerful...that's a pretty good name to me :-)

Erika was popular in the 80's, but I wouldn't want to use it now. Drakeley is different. I've never heard it before. Sounds more like a surname.

I love the name Erika (my step-daughter's name) but not really with Drakeley. It's interesting and unique though. Not boring at all.

Erika but not Drakeley. Maybe use your grandma's first or middle name to honor her.
