I love the kelloggs crunchy nut cereal but I have never tried the diet cos i'd be starving by lunch time! Although, the diet is meant to get you motivated and is suppose to work for 2 weeks to help you lose weight and keep fit. I think it's a load of c**p too, but you'll never know if you don't try it.

if you look at the stipulations of the diet--you really are not eating much. I think it is two bowls of cereal and another meal and their special K protein bars.
Cheerios promotes a similar thing. I wasnt trying to lose a waist size, but I did drop a couple pounds right before spring break. For about a week and a half I ate two bowls of cheerios (for breakfast and lunch) and ate whatever I wanted for dinner. I'd say I dropped a little weight.

well you don't actually lose a waist in size in two weeks maybe in 4 weeks, but the special k diet worked out for me i lost like 30 lbs in 3 months all you have to do is follow the directions and exercise

It does kind of work but it's not a healthy way to diet. I inadvertantly went on it when I ate it for breakfast and then ate it again when I was rushed for lunch. I did lose a lot of weight but I think that was due to other factors aswell- plus i did that for about 2 months, not 2 weeks. Give it a try but I think a balanced diet and lots of exercise is a better way to lose weight.

I think that they use it to sell cereal to gullible people. I do admit I buy the Kellogg's Special K with strawberries because I like it. That's it. I'm still waiting
for my waist to go down. lol

Well if all you're eating is cereal twice a day for two weeks you're probably going to lose at least a little weight. Personally, I think I'd starve and get really sick of cereal.

Its possible depending on what your 'normal' caloric intake was each day.
If you usually take in 6,500 calories a day and go down to the recommend 2,000/day....and stick to it you might see some dramatic results. But its hard because there are so many delicious things vying for our attention everyday.

Frankly, I haven't tried it. But I know someone who did it religiously and did not lose weight. She ended up writing in to Kellogs to make a complaint and never got a reply from them.

I would imagine it does, if you stick to the program. That's the key. I mean, anyone who eats just two bowls of cereal for two of your meals a day is bound to lose weight regardless of what cereal it is..
