If you use dish soap or any other soap make sure you use a lot of conditioner. Your hair isgoing to be super dry. And if you are out of shampoo what are the chances that you will have dish soap? I never remember to buy dish soap but don't seem to have any problem remembering shampoo :o)

yeah you could use hand soap or dish soap as long as it wasnt a long term thing. the mayo or conditioner would make my hair too greasy without shampoo to wash it out. the 1st day without shampoo you can sprinkle baby powder threw hair and brush out real good it will absorb any excess oil so you hair will still look clean.

Liquid soap or combine all near empty bottles of shampoo and you may get 2-3 washing out of it.

umm, i'm sure any type of soap would work. like maybe bodywash or something of that sort. i usually just keep extra shampoo in the house. y r all of the stores closes for a couple of days?

4 mists of a light perfume, 1/2 cup of water, 1/2 cup liquid soap.

I heard that if you rub baby powder into your hair it will collect the grease, but then you would have to shake it out so you don't look like an idiot. I don't know if it really works though.

Where are you at???? I don't wash my hair everyday. You could skip a day or two. It is easier to do if you are a girl though cuz you can pull your hair up. you could use your body soap.

You could try using baby powder and just put some on your scalp to absorb the oil

I agree with dish washing liquid. It doesn't take much, and it makes your hair really shiny. I've had to use it in a pinch.
