The plot is this, on an old house there is a chimney, with a little door on one side (to take ashes out) the chimney is full with little mean awfully looking people, like little devils, and they capture people and drag them inside the chimney, where they become little devils as well. on the movie the last one to go is a woman. Thats all i can remember, but i would love to watch it again so i can conjure old fears. jejejeje. thanks on any help. IMDB is not very helpfull on this one since i dont remember anything else.

Your plot synopsis is so damn close to a little T.V. movie horror ditty from 1973, entitled "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark", it's almost scary. Think about it!!! Kim Darby and Jim Hutton play a couple who moves into the wife's family house; she's more than a bit neuotic, and her fanciful reports of strange things and strange creatures in the house only help to convince the husband that the wife needs dire psychiatric help.
In fact, there ARE creatures in the house, who have taken wayward people in the house, dragged them into the basement (the only difference, based upon your discription), through a delapitated boiler duct, and into a fiery furnace, where the hapless victims become one of the creatures.
In the end, after being repeatedly disbelieved, the wife herself is dragged into the fiery furnace, and becomes one of the creatures.
Unfortunately, the film, one of the classic '70's ABC Movie of the Week horror feature films, has yet to be released on DVD, and the VHS tape has been long out of print (though private sellers on Amazon.com claims to sell copies, but at a hefty price tag).

you know hon, it sounds a bit like part of the SUBSPECIES series. That was a series of vampire movies made by Full Moon Productions. The one you are describing is either Subspecies 2 or Subspecies 3. They are not too easy to find on dvd, especially the first one. But you can still find them on eBay, sometimes in sets of 4 movies, bunched together. Now I can't say for sure it they are bootlegs or not, but if they have good resolution, then they are ok. And you might try finding them on vhs tape yet. There are a lot of those copies around. eBay, www.half.com and www.amazon.com would have them. good luck hon. neat movies, hokey but good.

Sounds like "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" an old horror film (late 70s/early 80s I would guess). That one scared the hell out of me when I was a kid! Later in my late-twenties, I bought a house with a fireplace and thought of this movie many times!
