Yes, certain foods effect your dreams. These foods differ for each person, and you can only find out what they are by experimenting. Although bananas work extremely well for me if you want to have an off-the-wall dream.

my grandma always said eating a pickle before bed will make you have bad dreams but i've never tried to see if it was true
