The Earth is our planet.

The Earth spins (rotates) on its axis.

It takes the Earth 24 hours to make one complete rotation. That causes day and night.

The Earth revolves around the Sun (our star).

It takes 365 days to make one complete revolution. That is one year. (It actually takes the Earth 365 days plus 6 hours to make one complete trip around the sun.)

The Earth's axis is tilted. That causes changing seasons and unequal day and night.

The Earth rotates from west to east.

The Earth is made up of over 70% water.

The Earth is the 3rd planet from the sun.

When the sun is above our heads, it is noon.

The sun seems to rise in the East and set in the West.

The moon is the Earth's satellite.

The moon rotates on its axis, too, while it orbits the Earth.

It takes the moon about 28 days to rotate once on its axis.

It takes the moon about 28 days to revolve around the Earth (one month). That is why we always see the same side of the moon.

Well, the Earth takes about 24 hours to spin around one time.
Conveniently for us, it does this every day so that our clocks are always right on time.

The meaning of Earth was uncovered in the pyramids in anchient Egypt around 1942 - 1943. I forget the exact date that the carved tablets were found in the Valley of The Kings.
Anyhow, so you can rest easy at night, the Meaning of the Earth is explained on Tablet Three. There the makeup of the Earth, and the Realm of the Gods is clearly explained and illustrated with many colorful drawings which the early Egyptians were noted for producing. The authenticity of these early tablets is beyond question and they now reside in the Natural Science Museum in Paris, France. Possibly you can visit Paris and see them for yourself one day.
