I believe my car got water spots from being parked in the driveway when the sprinklers come on. Now they won't come off when I wash the car. I've even tried waxing the car. What's the best way to remove these spots. Thanks.

They are calcium deposits and you need to have a wax with a cleaner built in to it. That's the only way I know of.

The cleaner is a mild form of a rubbing compound, so be careful if you have a clear coat finish, which most do now days.

Hi laura, I agree with fordman, you need a type of cleaner such as Meguires polishing compound, this should remove not only the calcium rings from the water spots but small scratches in the finish as well. Check at the local auto parts houses Pep Boys , NAPA,etc. They should be able to help you select a good polish/wax,which will give you the results that you want. Hope this helps
