you are looking for what is effectively a flatmate? advertise in a local corner shop. there are ads in the window. lots of people in the local areas look for home shares there. this way you can check them out first and it is less likely that they are scammers. it is harder for them to scam you in person

looking online for a mortgage sharer will only end up in
a. you getting scammed
b. you being associated with some kind of organised crime
c. you being murdered by some weird person

the prospects dont look good

however, it seems the best idea for you would be to find a place where you can afford the mortagage by yourself

Now let me see .. about 90% of email is SPAM = pyramid schemes, lottery scams, fake pill cons and advanced fee rip-offs ..

Every Question here asking about money gets 3 or 4 offers of 'low interest loans' (and not all from Nigeria) ...

So what's the chance that some-one you meet 'on the web' will try to rip you off ?
