I don't care if he was being crassly political or not. The fact is Reid and it does not matter to me if he was a Rep, Dem or IND., should be tried for Treason!!!! Bottom line he betrayed not only the people that he is representing but he betrayed America as a whole and most of all the Soldiers who have fought and died for this Country and the ones still fighting to this day.

I heard that one earlier. An MRI purely shows the mind wave pastime of the mind section it would not surely teach how the mind thinks or does issues. even although concept does come from the mind and nueral impluses the technological expertise of that is restricted. The concepts come from the mind and that is real, yet no you'll note those concepts being created and manifested contained in the mind. An MRI can't teach that. it would want to commonly purely teach the area energetic in a mind at the same time as doing an pastime or questioning about something. i imagine the coloration shows pink or Blue.

Crassly political, yes.
Typical politician-speak, yes.
A uniquely foot-in-mouth statement by a politician of either side? Not by a long shot.

Is he a socialist traitor to every soldier wearing an American flag on their uniform for the war comment? YES.

When he said that the war is lost, he was being reality-based (which, I gather you don't understand).

Of course he wants his party to pick up seats -- nothing crass about it.

It's not Reid's fault that everyone hates Bush's war (and Bush himself); Bush is the one who created that situation.

Are you telling me you don't think the Republicans talk about whether they're going to pick up seats?

The difference is that there are a lot more Democrats who love their country and want to do some good.

The Republican party has been almost completely taken over by those who are brutal and hopelessly corrupt.

You said that so nicely

I prefer traitorous

I have been on a emailing campaign asking the senate to expel him. I understand the senate as a whole are pretty miffed about his stupidity. Maybe you should try some emails, it worked for Rosie.

Crass? Sometimes reality comes across that way.

Call up photographs of Iraqi war dead, some time, if you have a stomach for it. Crass, or just reality?

Six hundred thousand civilians slaughtered as a consequence of our botched and unprovoked invasion. Declaring the war "lost" is simply facing up to reality. It is possible we could "win," barely possible, if we committed ourselves to a five fold increase in troop strength and to killing every third Iraqi. No one is willing to shoulder such cost.

I don't know what we would really win, in a situation like that. Lebensraum?

the latter was not well thought out but the former statement was one of fact. The majority of America wants out of Iraq, if the Democrats are trying and the republicans are standing in their way then the people will vote in more democrats. If this comes to be so then it won't be a result of Reid playing politics with our soldiers it will be a direct result of GWB not listening to reality, his short circuiting the democrats efforts will cost congress repub seats.

He was crassly political in his statement about picking up seats. He was grossly incompetent and negligent of his duties as the Senate Majority Leader in his "The war is lost" statement. He should be forced to resign. (But, that won't happen.) P.S. Maybe he would like to sign a formal declaration of surrender!

I have yet to see Harry Reid not be crassly political, and what do you know... he mentions Schumer, who I think is the perfect example of crassly political if I ever saw one.
Both are snide, smug and vile.

Yes. That's why he immediately changed his tune and went to the floor to modufy his statement.

As to suckingb, a) Foley didn't try to rape anyone, b) there was no pedophile, it was talking, no action took place. This distinguishes what happen from Dems' past transgression, i.e. Studds. Furthermore, did you know that in two states at the exact same time as the Foley scandal, two dems were in trouble for doing worse than IMing a page? Of course not. NY (Messa) and South Dakota.
