Of course one can be anti-Israel without being anti-Semitic - is called being against the colonialist Zionists, not against the Jewish people. There were other possible sites for Israel, which would have caused much less disruption and would not have placed them square among enemies, but the radical Zionists would not accept these. So, essentially, what they did do was displace those all ready living there in a most brutal way, and then accuse those displaced of 'terrorism' when they did fight back!
BTW, I've met many liberal Jews who are not Zionists and who feel that what has been done to the Palestinian people is wrong.

Of course you can. Israel is a independently governed State which has political interests. If you were anti-Semitic, you would be against the religious values and beliefs. One of my most trusted and respected employers I have ever had the honor to work for is Jewish and he was always being asked his opinion regarding events between Israel and Palestine. He always replied that I am an American that has Jewish Faith and watch the news just like you do. I am not a citizen of Israel..

The two do not necessarily go hand-in-hand. I am not anti semetic, I believe people have the right to worship whatever deity they choose, providing they don't try and ram it down my throat. However, Israel as a country has committed some barberous acts whilst hiding behind Judaism and trading on the sympathy given to the Jews after the Holocaust.

Yes I think you can, because it would be a political view and not a religious one, still you have to be careful when being anti anything because you're grouping together a whole bunch of people and it's almost certain one person will never know all the facts.

You can. You can feel that what the Jews in Israel are doing is wrong, but realize that not all Jews are represented by the ones fighting in Israel. It would be like disliking all Germans just because you are against Nazis. The Israelites that are violent in that area are a subset of Jews, not the other way around.

If you can then I want to be Anti-Rome but not Anti-Catholic. I think it's time that Rome kept it's big nose out of world politics and quit preaching to the rest of us. Rome needs to mind it's own business. After all, Rome sheltered escaping Nazis and is directly responsible for hundreds of thousands of murders throughout history.

Semites include Jews, Arabs and Ethiopians.
The State of Israel is founded on the displacement of the Palestinian people who are semites.
You can be anti-Israel and antisemitic. You can be anti-Israel without being antisemitic. If you support Israel's persecution of the Palestinian people you are antisemitic.

I don't know what "anti-Israel" means. If it means you hate the state of Israel and anything they think or believe then you are Anti-semitic. You are probably worse since they believe in freedom, democracy, etc...
If you mean there are things they do, but not everything, that you don't agree with then you aren't Anti-Israel or Anti-Jew you just don't agree with everything.

Can you be anti-afirmitive action without being a racist? Of course, just because you think there should be a jewish state called israel does not mean you must agree with it policies of violent repression and outright theivery.
