I'm sure it's coincidental. Maybe there's something in the sound of the names and it just happens that they all are jb.
Ian Fleming always said that he named James Bond after another author. Actually an author of a book on nature. He said it was the mildest and most boring name he could think of which was offset by the nature of the Bond character.

I think when Jason Bourne and Jack Bauer were named by their creators, James Bond was on their mind -- consciously or subconsciously.

i think itz cos:
1) they get called just by their last names sometimes (especially "bond") and these words starting with a 'B' gives a more striking manly sound
2) a short 'J' name goes with a surname starting with B... for example, Bobby Bond wouldn't have sounded very smooth now would it?!
heehee... just my thoughts.... good observation tho... i hadn't noticed that they all had the same initials!
